Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop complex financial models and forecasts to support long-term strategic planning and capital allocation decisions.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis between actual results and budgets, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare high-level executive summaries and detailed presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Budget Management: Assist in the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining strict adherence to financial controls.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and advanced Excel to manipulate large datasets, perform trend analysis, and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Compliance & Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role within a professional services or government contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros), SQL, and financial reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data to senior leadership.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for accuracy and detail in data processing.
