Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance metrics and trends to identify growth opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets for executive leadership review
- Prepare detailed variance reports and ad-hoc analyses for operational departments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
- Present complex financial insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals using ROI and NPV analysis
- Lead month-end closing activities and ensure SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in financial analysis within energy or manufacturing sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Strong SQL and data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-finance leaders
- CMA/CFA designation or actively pursuing preferred
