Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses for tech startups
- Lead budget forecasting and variance reporting for 15+ portfolio companies
- Create executive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for emerging sectors
- Mentor junior analysts on financial best practices
- Present findings to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Optimize capital allocation strategies using quantitative analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years financial analysis experience in tech or venture capital
- Expert proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, macros) and SQL
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- CFA or CPA certification highly desirable
- Experience with financial modeling tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex data
- Portfolio of successful financial strategy implementations
