Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term strategic planning and forecasting.
- Perform detailed variance analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare high-level executive presentations and reports for the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives and project deliverables.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide insights on emerging industry trends in Nevada.
- Streamline financial reporting processes by implementing best practices and leveraging technology.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and SQL.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, concise narratives.
- Certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
