Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and regulatory changes to produce actionable insights for executive leadership
- Develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and variance reports supporting strategic business decisions
- Lead cross-functional budgeting cycles across 15+ departments with $50M+ discretionary spend
- Design and implement KPI dashboards using Power BI/Tableau for real-time performance monitoring
- Conduct M&A due diligence and valuation analyses for potential acquisitions
- Maintain SOX compliance documentation and internal control frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts through financial modeling workshops and case studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, macros) and SQL with database management skills
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, comps, precedent transactions)
- Proven track record of optimizing financial processes reducing costs by 15%+
- SAS/Python or R experience for statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Strong presentation skills with experience communicating complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Active CPA or CFA charter holder preferred
