Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and forecasting tools to support long-term strategic planning and budgeting.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and budgets, identifying key performance drivers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership and the board of directors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and resource allocation.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Experience with SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a strong plus.
- CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial audiences.
