Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership and board members
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation analysis
- Lead monthly/quarterly close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and root cause investigations to drive process improvements
- Collaborate with investment teams to perform due diligence and assess acquisition opportunities
- Design and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Present complex financial insights to non-financial stakeholders through compelling visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in corporate finance or investment environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex modeling) and financial software (SAP, Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and forecasting techniques
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts clearly
- Experience with SEC reporting requirements and GAAP compliance
