Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Handle complex payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple entities
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with aging analysis
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with construction or service industry accounting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
