Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance, market trends, and investment opportunities across 50+ portfolio companies
- Build complex financial models (DCF, LBO, M&A) to support valuation and strategic initiatives
- Prepare executive-level presentations and board materials translating complex data into actionable insights
- Lead cross-functional financial due diligence processes for new acquisitions and investments
- Develop and maintain automated financial reporting dashboards using Power BI and SQL
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement of financial analysis frameworks
- Collaborate with portfolio companies on operational efficiency and financial optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience in investment banking, PE, or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC regulations, and valuation methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Track record of presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Austin-based candidates preferred with knowledge of Texas market dynamics
