Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to inform investment decisions
- Develop sophisticated financial models and valuation frameworks for new opportunities
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership and investment committees
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategic adjustments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with business objectives
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for new investment initiatives
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience in investment or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven recommendations
- Knowledge of Bay Area market dynamics and emerging sectors
