Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for budget forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning
- Analyze operational KPIs and financial performance metrics across 5+ business units
- Prepare monthly financial statements with executive-level insights and actionable recommendations
- Lead cross-departmental projects for cost optimization and process improvement
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support M&A activities and investment decisions
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and automate reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in manufacturing or agriculture sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling tools
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to C-suite stakeholders
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements
- Valid California driver's license (10% travel to regional facilities)
