Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance data to identify trends and opportunities for operational efficiency
- Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts for capital projects exceeding $50M
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for board meetings
- Lead budgeting processes across multiple departments with zero-base methodology
- Conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions for budget deviations
- Collaborate with investment teams on due diligence for new acquisitions
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in energy or infrastructure sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting standards
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and Alaskan tax regulations
- Proven ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- CPA or CFA designation highly valued
