Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and market trends to deliver comprehensive business valuations and risk assessments
- Develop sophisticated financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning using advanced Excel and SQL techniques
- Create executive-ready presentations translating complex data into strategic recommendations for C-suite stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating financial analysis with operational improvements across diverse industries
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining compliance with SOX regulations and industry best practices
- Collaborate with investment teams to optimize portfolio performance through financial due diligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in financial analysis with Big 4 or corporate finance experience
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query, PivotTables) and financial modeling tools
- Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data extraction and manipulation
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with financial reporting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
