Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and forecasting for commercial lending portfolios
- Analyze variance reports and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities
- Develop and present quarterly financial dashboards to executive leadership
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize budget allocation and resource utilization
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis projects for strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls
- Mentor junior analysts through process documentation and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in banking or finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in variance analysis and financial forecasting
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts
- CPA or CFA designation highly desirable
- Experience with commercial credit analysis preferred
