Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance metrics and prepare detailed variance reports for executive stakeholders
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for budget forecasting and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional projects evaluating new market opportunities in Nevada's expanding gaming and tech sectors
- Automate reporting processes using Power BI and SQL to enhance operational efficiency
- Present financial insights to C-suite executives through compelling PowerPoint presentations
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal control frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts through structured training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or investment environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements and GAAP standards
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- CFA designation or equivalent certification strongly preferred
