Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for investment portfolios
- Develop detailed financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial strategies and resource allocation
- Monitor market conditions and regulatory changes affecting investment performance
- Lead financial due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and partnerships
- Mentor junior analysts and improve departmental reporting frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in investment or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and investment valuation methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Experience with financial reporting in the Gulf South region preferred
