As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing market trends, preparing complex financial models, and providing strategic recommendations to C-suite executives. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Conduct variance analysis and present detailed performance reports to senior leadership on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends and regulatory changes to assess potential risks and opportunities for the firm.
- Create executive summaries and visual data presentations (dashboards) to communicate financial insights effectively.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the DC metro area or the public sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and SQL for data extraction.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
