Central Valley Manufacturing is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. Based in Fresno, CA, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning, performance analysis, and business strategy. We are looking for a proactive professional who can translate complex data into actionable insights to support executive decision-making.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual operating budgets and strategic plans.
- Present financial performance reports to senior leadership in a clear, compelling manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and capital investment decisions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls and policies.
- Manage ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements within the finance department.
- Assist in the development of compensation and benefit analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Macros, PivotTables) and financial reporting software.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
