Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation purposes
- Analyze financial performance trends and prepare comprehensive executive reports
- Support M&A activities through due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning
- Partner with department heads to create strategic financial plans and KPI tracking
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive efficiency improvements
- Present financial insights to executive leadership and portfolio company CEOs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3-5 years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate finance or investment
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas)
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation methodologies
- Strong SQL and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau a plus)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience supporting portfolio companies or VC-backed startups
