Responsibilities
- Build financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support executive decision-making
- Prepare board-level presentations translating complex financial data into actionable insights
- Lead month-end closing processes ensuring SOX compliance and accuracy
- Conduct ad-hoc financial modeling for M&A opportunities and capital allocation
- Collaborate with department heads to develop KPI dashboards and performance metrics
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic pricing and investment decisions
- Maintain robust financial controls and documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in energy or manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong presentation skills with executive communication experience
- Certification (CPA/CMA) or active pursuit considered
- Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
