Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for strategic decision-making
- Develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for departmental and organizational use
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and improve financial performance
- Prepare detailed financial models and ad-hoc analysis for executive leadership and board presentations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal financial controls
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex financial analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
- Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings to executive stakeholders
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and driving cost optimization
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the financial services industry
