Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models and valuations for investment opportunities across diverse sectors
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry performance to inform strategic recommendations
- Prepare detailed financial reports and executive presentations for stakeholders and leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risk profiles and optimize portfolio performance
- Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA standards
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis projects supporting mergers, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or investment banking
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and financial modeling software
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SEC reporting, and investment valuation methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Experience in the New Orleans or Gulf Coast financial markets highly valued
