- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Perform variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and forecasts.
- Utilize financial modeling techniques to assess the impact of potential business decisions.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for executive stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Reporting: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards using advanced Excel and BI tools.
- Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis of financial trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth drivers.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to relevant regulatory standards and company policies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and insights to non-financial management teams in an understandable manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a strong plus.
