Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue streams, expenses, and general ledger accounts to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand operational needs and provide strategic financial recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget and track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Streamline financial reporting processes and improve data accuracy through automation and system optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
