The Role:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements, managing budget cycles, and conducting variance analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain differences between actual and budgeted figures.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Assist in the budgeting process, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial data to drive business strategy.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop strategic financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling software.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
