Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes. You will work closely with department heads to forecast budgets, analyze variances, and ensure the company meets its financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex financial modeling and forecasting to support long-term strategic planning.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of budget presentations and supporting documentation for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial viability of new projects and initiatives.
- Streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy and efficiency across departments.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial research and market analysis to provide context for financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and financial modeling software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
