Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
