As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, manage month-end close processes, and support our growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the weekend closing procedures, including bank reconciliations and general ledger adjustments.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile complex accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audits, providing required documentation and schedules.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities to ensure timely processing and accurate recording.
- Cross-train with weekday finance staff to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in large datasets.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during off-peak hours.
