Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Manage 3-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Coordinate with procurement team on payment terms and discounts
- Maintain organized digital filing system for all payment documentation
- Assist in month-end closing activities and audit preparations
- Optimize invoice processing workflows using SAP and Excel
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with competing priorities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Austin-based residency required for occasional on-site meetings
