Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state financial regulations.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proven experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and tax compliance standards.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
