Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Lead reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and complex intercompany transactions
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with tax teams to support compliance and strategic tax planning initiatives
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite) for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel with VBA skills
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit readiness
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex financial data
- Excellent remote collaboration abilities using Slack, Zoom, and Asana
- Proven track record of process improvement in accounting operations
