Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records on a monthly basis.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform variance analysis and present findings to senior management to drive strategic decision-making.
- Lead and coordinate the external audit process, acting as the primary liaison between the company and auditors.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget and forecast.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
