Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and external audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and support external auditors during the annual audit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
