Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Implement internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support quarterly filings
- Lead month-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze cash flow trends and provide strategic financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in SaaS or fintech
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance and sales tax
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
