Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end general ledger processes, including month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the annual external audit process and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Perform variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving measures to senior management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely processing.
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
