Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company accounts.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, including tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
