Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Manage audit processes and respond to regulatory inquiries
- Optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
