Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with strict attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal financial controls
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to resolve discrepancies
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of leading successful financial audits
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
