Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting.
- Prepare complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for internal and external audits.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are accurate and reconciled.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure all tax filings and regulatory requirements are met accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
