Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for corporate clients
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Develop and implement automated accounting workflows using ERP systems
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
- Support M&A transaction accounting due diligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Asana, Teams)
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a virtual environment
