Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Support external audit processes and tax compliance activities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite/SAP)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and consolidation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record in process optimization
