Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is strongly required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial managers.
