Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with SOX compliance oversight
- Lead financial audits, reconciliations, and variance analysis for multi-entity operations
- Develop and implement accounting policies to ensure GAAP adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
- Mentor junior accountants and process automation initiatives
- Interface with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven experience leading financial audits and process improvements
