Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and improve cash flow management
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations and ensure compliance
- Lead financial forecasting and variance analysis for budget planning
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
