Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct audits and reconcile complex accounts across multiple entities
- Advise stakeholders on tax strategies and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage multi-state operations and tax filings
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration abilities
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance
