Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee general ledger reconciliations and account maintenance
- Lead internal control implementation and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational improvements
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (Advanced functions)
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (CPA) required
- Experience in public accounting or financial services industry
