Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for commercial and individual clients
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and market trends
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommend loan structures
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to optimize lending decisions
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FCRA, BSA, etc.)
- Present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating SBA and commercial loans
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
