Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and loan recommendations for committee review
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex commercial loans
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FIRREA, BSA) and internal policies
- Present findings clearly to senior leadership and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- 3+ years commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Credit Risk Management certification (CRCM) strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and industry-specific metrics
