Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial credit applications using financial modeling and risk assessment frameworks
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk reports for executive review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning indicators
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes (FIRREA, BSA) and ensure compliance
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance credit decisioning workflows
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg) and risk assessment tools
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant structures
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial statements and industry trends
- Exceptional written/verbal communication with stakeholder management skills
- FINRA Series 7/63 or willingness to obtain within 90 days
