Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis for commercial loan applications, including financial statement review and cash flow projections
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and risk assessments for loan committee presentations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance with credit terms and identify potential risk exposures
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions for diverse industries
- Stay current on regulatory requirements (FDIC, OCC, and state banking laws) and implement best practices
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit risk assessment
- Proficiency with credit scoring models and banking software (e.g., Moody's, Moody's Analytics)
- Strong Excel skills with ability to build complex financial models
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex financial concepts
- Professional certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) highly desirable
